Kamarus School is a secondary school in Kipkelion which suffers from a poor water supply. We collaborated with the school to build a 32,000 litre ferro-cement rainwater tank. This will collect rainwater during the rainy months, so that there will be a store of clean water for the teachers and students to use during the dry season. This saves them the work of fetching water from the river – and the water is also much cleaner and healthier. The tank was completed in January 2015.
